Seveneen year old actress Olivia Holt according to The Hollywood Reporter has landed a role in the faith based drama 'Same Kind of Different as Me' as Regan, the daughter of Ron and Debbie Hall.
She joins Renee Zellweger, Greg Kinnear, Djimon Hounsou and Jon Voight in the film, which is based on the nonfiction book by Ron Hall and Denver Moore with Lynn Vincent, author of the best-selling book Heaven Is for Real.
This film is currently filming in Jackson, Mississippi.
'Same Kind of Different as Me' centers on Ron Hall (Kinnear), an international art dealer who must
befriend a dangerous homeless man (Hounsou) in order to save his struggling marriage to his wife, Debbie (Zellweger).
Holt currently stars as Lindy in the Disney Channel original series I Didn’t Do It, which is about to start production for season 2. She also played Kim in the Disney XD martial arts series Kickin’ It, and has a record deal with Hollywood Records. Earlier this year, she sang the theme song Carry On in the DisneyNatures film Bears.
Olivia is repped by Principato-Young Entertainment, Paradigm and Morris Yorn.
